about: The Taj Mahal is in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. I saw it first in the early morning, as the famous shrine was wrapped in mist rising off the river below it, and was immediately captivated. I spent several days exploring the grounds, silently and meticulously, finding every minute and extraordinary detail and listening to the music of its echoing silence. Before is a musical rendition of that experience.
